Buildwas Meadow - SOLD, Telford - Almost 4 acres, £39,000

Buildwas Meadow - SOLD

Access to the Meadow is via an excellent concrete track off the A4169, that meanders through mature broadleaf woodland and then opens out onto the meadow.

From the Buildwas Meadow gate the land slopes down the hillside towards the southern boundary giving impressive views of the Coalbrookdale cooling towers (now closed down).

Buildwas Meadow has recently had new stock-proof fencing installed on the northern and eastern boundaries, and a water supply that is fed from a spring from the nearby woodland. There is a tap along the fence line of the eastern boundary which could be used for livestock.

This meadow would be well suited for keeping horses, other livestock, poultry, permaculture or keeping bees.

Some of the local wildlife that can be seen and heard in and around the meadow include deer, fox, rabbit, owl, buzzard and many woodland birds.

Although the meadow can be enjoyed as a conservation project as it is, it could also be used as a canvas on which to design and create a diverse wildlife-rich new woodland.

Nearby there are many fascinating places to visit, including Iron Bridge which has a clutch of museums, pubs and restaurants that front onto the River Severn, and of course the famous bridge which is the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.

The purchasers of the meadow will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.
