Swein Meadow, Norfolk - Just under 3 ¼ acres, £53,000

Swein Meadow

The meadow is named after Swein Forkbeard who played an important role in the forming of nearby Norwich. The ancient city of Norwich was a thriving centre for trade and commerce in 1004 when it was raided and burnt by Swein Forkbeard the Viking king of Denmark. The Vikings stayed and were a strong cultural influence in Norwich for 40 to 50 years at the end of the 9th century making the city an important place.

The meadow lies just outside the city but within easy reach of the old Viking settlements. The meadow has high grade horse net fencing along with a brand new galvanised gate ensuring that if the field was used for livestock or for horse grazing they would be safe and secure. The meadow is accessed via a hard bridleway which is wide enough for a van or horse box trailer. The meadow is level and has shelter from trees to the east and surrounded on other sides by further private meadows.

Whilst this meadow is ideally suited to be used for pony grazing it is a total blank canvas and could have many other uses including being planted with native trees to create a woodland. Located within the ring road of Norwich and under 5 miles from the city centre this is a valuable piece of real estate which will also be attractive for the long term investor.
