How to Attract African Migratory Birds to your Woodland

By woodlandstv

Slow connection? Watch in lower quality

In this film by outstanding wildlife film maker Natalie Clements, we return to Richard Lloyd Evans from Project Nestbox. Richard tells us about the amazing redstart and pied flycatchers, their migratory route, habitat and how to identify them. He sets out how we can encourage them to our woodlands, features of the nest boxes they favour and where to site them, and materials to use to protect them from predators and the weather.

That's a lot of nestboxes to cover, i notice the lids are not secured, i wonder how much predation they get.

Your sound is mono instead of stereo, and on the left channel only.

Woodmice, that is interesting.
I have been putting up nestboxes for some years, I have switched over to the woodcrete designs

@@pauldurkee4764it would cost me a fortune to replace 1000 ply nest boxes with woodcrete nest boxes.
