SOLD: Buckrams Wood £75,000 Freehold

Description

Buckrams Wood is a mature mixed woodland which has some majestic, large, well grown trees. The woodland is generally sloping but with easy access to all areas. From the eastern boundary the woodland has a gentle slope leading to the western boundary. The trees are well spaced giving some natural flat clearings which could be used for camping areas and areas to use as bases for woodland activities.

There is a recently brush cut path that begins at the entrance and runs along the side of the woodland. Further paths created by wildlife flow through and around the wood on several layers along the slopes. These paths, meander through large broadleaf trees, with conifers along the boundary road.

The purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows.

Trees

Some of the tree species found in this wood include, oak, ash, larch, holly, beech and Scots pine.

Wildlife

As the woodland is located in a rural area there are lots of wildlife that visit the woodland such as deer, badger, fox, and many nesting song birds.

Features

Buckrams Wood borders along its leading top edge a main entrance track that the new owner will have a right to use. This is suitable for normal vehicle access without the necessity for four wheel drive. From this boundary track the wood has an incline to the bottom of the slope, but the woods are generally gently sloping with flat secluded areas which allow for fabulous far reaching views across fields in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.

Access, tracks and footpaths

There is a parking bag where the main access track reaches Buckrams Wood. From here there is a track that meanders around the boundaries of the wood with many deer and animal tracks leading off ready to be explored.

Part way down the top boundary, within easy reach of the parking bay there is a secret cleared path leading to a secluded area where there is a natural flat clearing with a rustic bench to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
